I have been painting and drawing ever since I can remember.....fueled by an adrenalin rush that grips me when a particular idea or image presents itself and stubbornly leads me to a sketch pad and canvas! Although I have been an art teacher, I am self-taught and have painted and drawn mostly for self-gratification. However, it gives me great satisfaction when my work is acknowledged and gives pleasure to an onlooker. I was born in Forenza, Italy, a small town in southern Italy, in 1953. I have derived great pleasure from my art, sometimes happy to give some of my work away as gifts, content in the knowledge that it would be enjoyed and cared for.
